Friends of the Slayton Library's Little Library

The mission of the Friends of the Slayton Public Library is to promote excellence in library services by working with the library board and staff to support the library, its services, and its programs.

The 2020 annual project was the little free library located in the downtown Pocket Park.  Judy Horn, a member of the Friends, explained, "Our group was so impressed with the mural and flowers in the Pocket Park this summer and we thought maybe we could do something to add to that space too."

We encourage you to take a book home to read.  Donations of clean, well maintained, books are accepted.
